What should I do before the cleaning?
In order to devote the time to do deep cleaning in your home, Maid Easy asks that you pick up toys, clothing and other household items prior to our arrival.
Who will be cleaning in my home?
Normally, Maid Easy provides you with a team of 2 cleaning professionals. We will do our best to send the same team each visit. However, there may be a change depending on illness or the unforeseen.
How will Maid Easy get into my home if I am at work?
Maid Easy asks that you provide us with a key to your home and alarm code, if there is an alarm system. We label our keys numerically – there is no name or address on the key for security reasons. If you prefer not to provide us with a key, other arrangements can be made. However, if we are not able to get into your home on your scheduled day, a lock-out charge will apply.
What are your cleaning days and hours?
Generally, Maid Easy works Monday through Friday from approximately 8:00am – 5:00pm. If these hours do not work for you and your family, we will do our best to find a mutually appropriate day and time.
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies and equipment?
Maid Easy will provide all the necessary cleaning supplies and equipment. If you would prefer that we use your products or specialty product, we will – no problem.
What about my pets?
Pets are usually not a problem. However, if you have a dog that is aggressive or has a tendency to bite, we ask that you put the dog in a kennel or a separate room that we won’t access. If the cleaning staff feel threatened by an aggressive animal, we will not proceed to clean for safety reasons.
How do I pay for the service?
Maid Easy accepts payment by cheque or cash on the day of the cleaning. Simply leave your payment on the kitchen counter or table. A receipt will be provided upon request.
What if I need to reschedule a cleaning date or if my cleaning lies on a public holiday?
If for any reason you are not able to keep your regularly scheduled cleaning date, please call the office at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule. If your cleaning date lies on a public holiday, you will receive a call from the office advising you of an alternate date.
Am I required to sign a contract?
No. Maid Easy does not require you to sign a contract.
